This article provides step-by-step instructions on how to log into the VPN service using the Duo security 2FA service. Before you begin the steps below, make sure you have your mobile device ready and unlocked. You will only have 15 seconds to accept the Approve notifications from Duo.
Launch Cisco AnyConnect VPN and click Connect. |
Do not put in your credentials yet. Instead, Click on the Group field and select ~SSO-SPC.EDU. |
Now enter your Saint Peter's email address and Click Next. |
Enter your Password and click Log in. |
Once you see the message Verify it's you by approving the notification, you will need to verify using the DUO app on your phone. |
Check your mobile device, where you should see a push notification appear on the screen asking if you're logging into Saint Peter's VPN. |
Tap the tap to View Actions prompt and choose Approve. |
If you don't see this push notification, open the Duo app on your mobile device instead. |
In the Duo app, you will be asked if you are logging into the Saint Peter’s University VPN. Tap Approve to verify. |
If you have approved via the Duo Mobile App, you should see this confirmation message appear on your mobile device. |
Following your approval, within the next few seconds, you should see that your connection to the VPN has been established, and the software will display Connected to vpn.saintpeters.edu. |
